Description of The Services

The Description of the Services is made available to You by Toadsquare for Your ease and for information purposes only and do not bind Toadsquare contractually.

Please note that the Description of the Services may be subject to modifications from time to time.

In this section will be described the different categories of Services displayed on the Site as well as functionalities for the use of Members.

1. Functionalities offered to Members

Your Showcase

Your Showcase Homepage: This section must be created before the rest of your Showcase.

Your Showcase: Is a personal website where Members can display information about themselves and their work.

Please be careful with the information, personal or not, that You choose to make available on these webpages as it will be accessible to all people visiting the Site.

Toadsquare has no control over the content Members post on their Showcase and will not be held liable in case the content is inappropriate or offensive. In case You find such content on a Member’s Showcase, please use the “Report a Problem” link.

Your Toadsquare Menu: This is the admin section and is private for each Member. Here You can see messages, access Your cart, see who and what You have liked, blog, create a CV & Portfolio, upload media, notify people about events and/or post classifides.

It hosts the global settings of each member. In Global Settings members can edit and/or detete the personal details Toadsquare holds. Your account can be deleted from here.

You are solely responsible for the administration of Your Showcase, and Toadsquare will not be held responsible for any damage resulting from Your use of Your Toadsquare.

Cart: In this section You can choose to purchase or sell products, pay-per-view (PPV) and/or download content.

If You choose to purchase items, You will be able to do so through Your Cart, and will then have to checkout with PayPal.

Consumption Tax (VAT, GST, Sales Tax etc.) will be (or not) charged depending on the details You entered for the PayPal transaction according to the tax laws in force for You at the time of the transaction. The record of the purchase will be stored in Your Purchase page in your Cart for third-party sales and in your Your Membership for purchases from Toadsquare.

2. Categories of Services

CV & Portfolio: This area is private to a member (it is not part of a Member's Showcase). In this section, Members will be able to upload a curriculum vitae and also a selection of their work. Members can choose to submit a link to this section when applying for work advertised on the Site or to send the link out to Members and non-Members as they choose. The link will be valid for 30 days. They can also choose to print a paper copy of their curriculum vitae.

Fine Arts

Film & Video: In this section, Members will be able to upload film and video projects. A project may contain up to two trailers an extract and a major work or a collection of up to 20 pieces. Members may choose to sell the major work or a collection of 20 pieces, or put it up for free.

Toadsquare has no control over the content that Users post/upload on the Site and will not be held liable in case of Intellectual property rights infringement by content a Member has posted/uploaded on the Site. In case You observe any infringement of Your Intellectual property rights, or content that is inappropriate or offensive in anyway (e.g. pornographic, violent, hate speech), please inform Us by clicking on the “Report a Problem” link and follow the procedure so that proper action can be taken.

Music & Audio: In this section, Members will be able to upload music and audio projects. One project contains up to 20 files. Members can choose to put their music and audio projects for free or allow the first twenty seconds of the file to be played back so Members are able to buy it, choose to sell the whole project or to have a free song as a sample and charge for the rest of the project.

Photography & Art: In this section, Members will be able to upload an album of up to 20 images. Members will be able to display a thumbnail that may be watermarked if the album is put on sale when they uploaded the image. Members have the choice to sell a downloadable file or ship the artwork to a buyer. Images can be put up for free.

Writing & Publishing: In this section, Members will be able to upload an extract and a major work or a collection of 20 pieces. Members can choose to put up an extract and charge for the major work, or put up a collection of 20 pieces and show one piece for free and charge to download the rest, or put it all for free.

Performances & Events: In this section, Members will be able to post details of live/online events and sell tickets. Members can also notify other Members of events they may wish to attend. Every Member may post an unlimited number of event notifications for free.

A mobile application called “Meeting Point” can be downloaded on the site which permits social interaction between Members.

Be careful of fraud! Before you buy tickets check out the organiser and venue details, as Toadsquare makes no representation about the happening of the event. The member who put up the event is responsible for any refunds through PayPal.

Education for Creative Arts: In this section, Members will be able to put up an extract and a collection of 20 lessons in video, audio or written form. Members may choose to show the extract for free and put up the rest of the project or put it for sale or for free.

In this section, Members can let people know what projects and events are in the pipeline.

Classifieds

Work: In this section, Members can put up classifieds letting people know they are available for work or that they have work. Members can exchange information and their Work Profile in response. In their administration section they will have lists of applications sent and received.

Products: In this section, Members can sell products or ask for products they want to source (e.g. second hand video cameras). They can also refer to sites that maybe of interest to other members in free products.

Services:In this section, Members can sell products or ask for services they want to source (e.g. editing).

Supporting Sections

Blogs: In this section, Members will be able to write a posts and post in response to other posts. Please note that it will not be possible to write comments.

You hereby undertake to adopt a sensible and reasonable conduct and agree not to post inappropriate content. Therefore, You undertake to comply with the provisions of sections 5 and 6 of the General terms. Toadsquare will not be held responsible for moral damage caused by inappropriate or offensive content posted by Users in this section.

In case You observe any content that is inappropriate or offensive in anyway (e.g. pornographic, violent, hate speech), please inform Us by clicking on the “Report a Problem” link and follow the procedure so that proper action can be taken.

Reviews: Members can write reviews of other Members' and their work.

News: Members can write articles about the creative arts.

Events: Members can share information about events in the creative arts.

Favourite Sites: Members can refer to sites that maybe of interest to others in the creative arts.

Forum and Help & FAQs: In these sections, Members will be able to put up a forum THAT THEY WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR MODERATING. Toadsquare will not be held responsible for moral damage caused by inappropriate or offensive content posted by Users in this section.

Adverts: Members can advertise themselves and their work across the site through an advertising campaign.

Members will be able to put up a image and link to a site THAT THEY WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SELECTING. Toadsquare will not be held responsible for moral damage caused by inappropriate or offensive content posted by Users in this section.

Toadsquare News & PR: This section stores communications from Toadsquare.
